Meet Zoe & Rob
Splat & Scatter is run by a husband-and-wife team of teachers and parents. We bring together our classroom experience and home messy play adventures to create playful, purposeful sessions and resources for young explorers.

Zoe
Zoe is the face of Splat & Scatter, leading our classes with energy and classroom expertise from her experience as a teacher. She gained her PGCE from the University of York. She draws on her own home sensory play adventures and educational background to create development-focused experiences where young explorers grow in confidence as they squeeze, scoop, and explore.
Co-Founder, SEND & health and safety Lead
Rob
Rob is the creative mind working behind the scenes to ensure Splat & Scatter is both magical and meticulously managed. With specialist expertise from his work in schools as both a teacher and teaching assistant, he is dedicated to making every session truly inclusive for all young explorers. While Zoe leads the classes, Rob handles the background work—including health & safety and policies—so that families can fully relax. Rob completed his PGCE at the Institute of Education (UCL) in London and is currently completing his Masters in Education.

As parents of two children ourselves, Splat & Scatter was born from the desire to bridge our professional lives as teachers with our own family messy play adventures. We believe in creating sessions that are purely fun, inclusive, and accessible for all young explorers.
